Purge Waves

Purge Waves was introduced as a measure in order to combat bots and to control the total number of participants, as we are limiting validators in the closed beta phase to 25,000.

Users who meet the criteria for being flagged as bots or as inactive validators are permanently removed from the network. All their data, accumulated points, and credentials are completely wiped.

The table below shows the sequence of Purge events, including the Purge wave number, date, and total number of affected users.

Purged users can rejoin at any time using the same credentials, but all progress will start from scratch.
