Reward System

SHARE points are rewarded to validators over time and these points reflect how much you actually contributes to the network. Rewards are influenced by factors such as uptime, reputation score and whether your validator is actively being used by the network and not idle most of the time.

• Uptime

Uptime is how long your device stays connected to the network, doesn't matter if it's being used by the network or not as long as you are online and connected, the node's availability is what matters.

Validators that stay online and reliable over long periods naturally build a stronger network reputation score, which directly impacts SHARE rewards.

• Reputation Score

Reputation score was introduced in later updates to filter consistently active users and those who are not. Validators with stable and consistent uptimes are tagged with good reputation scores which makes the network to utilize them more than the others.

• Reward Calculation

In the early versions of the Validator (June–July), SHARE rewards were distributed very frequently, roughly every 30 seconds to 1 minute. While this made rewards feel dynamic, it placed significant strain on the network by continuously verifying and distributing rewards at very short intervals.

As the network grew and modules became more complex, this approach is no longer scalable.

To solve this, reward distribution was redesigned. The network now operates on 12 to 15 minute reward intervals. During each interval, all completed and broken outputs are collected, reviewed, and processed altogether before rewards are issued in batches. This method significantly reduced overhead while improving reliability across validators.

Each reward interval grants between MIN 3.5 and MAX 5 SHARE points, depending on your network reputation.
